Elephants are our new favorite animal

A few days ago we got to experience probably one of the coolest things we will ever do in life next to marriage and death...we got to ride elephants in Thailand! And p.s. to our loyal supporters - we don't have to pay for this/our Thailand luxuries from our support :) The Jmen in our city also arrived the same day, so Jeshica got to come with us to ride elephants! The grasshopper was made for us during our ride by our Thai guide out of palm fronds - how cool is that??
We're also enjoying the attempts at English translations from Thai: my favorite one so far was in a restaurant menu for the description of the appetizer; it said, "it is widely known that real men can't eat quiche, but nachos are acceptable".

Carley and Lydia have had a lot of fun running in Thailand; it's nice to run further out and see Thai life like normal rather than the version we see most right by the hotel. We also found a wild banana tree with fruit/flower running!
